I'm Engaged!

Last week was quite a week for me, starting off with a very positive response to my SECSOR presentation: "Lord Lord": Jesus' Use of the Divine Name in the Synoptics" (blogged about here) and continuing with a chance to catch up with some friends and family in Georgia and Florida. But the real highlight of the week was when, at sunset on Wednesday, I surprised my lovely girlfriend in Cocoa Beach, FL (where she was spending her spring break) and proposed to her on the beach. We're obviously pretty excited, though there's certainly a lot of work ahead.

**Update** Here's video of the proposal:

Since it's not April 1, I'm assuming this is legit, right? At any rate, I would like to wish the two of you the best during this special time of the rest of your lives.
